Welcome To Dandello's Garden & Helps

A garden should be in a constant state of fluid change, expansion, experiment, adventure; above all it should be an inquisitive, loving, but self-critical journey on the part of its owner.

Dandello lives in the Pacific Northwest, right on the border between Washington and Oregon, where the Columbia River comes out of the Columbia Gorge (just east of Portland, Oregon). It's a great place for year-round gardening and Dandello does that. Dandello also grows some Lavender and Thyme: Growing Lavender and Thyme.

Gardening in the Northwest - Hardiness Zones, Lavender and Thyme. Also: Plant and Planting Information including planting times and month-by-month gardening guide for Zone 7 (Vancouver-Portland).

Gardening by Moon sign is an old practice that works - it's an organizational technique that allots time for each type of garden work and suggests the best times for planting different types of plants. Get your own Custom Moonsign Calendar/Journal
